Injured Worker Management
Pain Options provide a comprehensive Injured Worker Management Service focused on restoring function and optimising work capacity.
Our service is strongly aligned to the WorkCover WA endorsed Clinical Framework for the Delivery for Health Services.
For complicated cases, ongoing management can be conducted by our Specialist Physiotherapists, or via close collaboration with our Senior Physiotherapists. Our approach is to focus on the factors contributing to each individual’s pain and disability and engage with them in collaborative active rehabilitation. Our aim is to partner with other like-minded practitioners and stakeholders as part of a comprehensive service – we do some things very well, but also know that working alongside other professions results in better outcomes for injured workers.
Many injured workers are unable to move forward due to a lack of clear diagnosis or direction for management.

At Pain options, it is our experience that by providing clear explanations for ongoing pain (that actually make sense for each individual person and their circumstances), people then find it much easier to understand and engage in an appropriate rehabilitation program. We can deliver targeted education to individuals or small groups via our OPT-IN Pain Management Program that can provide the missing piece of the puzzle to help them get going again.
